This pretty blush pink fabric designed by Duncan Grant entitled 'Grapes’ was made for Allan Walton textiles in 1932.

Lined with a contemporary cream and pale pink cotton ticking with an interior slip pocket, magnetic closure and a strong ivory-coloured shoulder strap, which can be worn on the shoulder or across the body.

Optional pure wool tassel in oatmeal, measuring approximately 18cm

Duncan Grant was an artist in the early 1900's and was part of a group commonly known as The Bloomsbury set.
The group moved to Charleston, their wonderful house in Sussex in 1916, filling it with works of art and decorated with their paintings, sculptures and fabric designs.

Sizing:
This bag has a base approximately 17" (44cm) width x 16" (42cm). The strap peaks at approximately 17" (44cm) above the top of the bag.
