West Wind Tote

This vibrant patterned fabric designed by Duncan Grant captures the early summer breeze and mythological figure Zephyrus.

Lined with a durable British-made ivory linen & cotton mix inner, with an interior slip pocket, removable insert which fits neatly into the bottom of the bag and strong cord-centre ivory handles. It also features a magnetic closure & laser-etched hardwood Jenney Wren label on the inside pocket.

Duncan Grant was an artist in the early 1900's and was part of a group commonly known as The Bloomsbury set.
The group moved to Charleston, their wonderful house in Sussex in 1916, filling it with works of art and decorated with their paintings, sculptures and fabric designs.

Approximately 38cm (15") wide x 30cm (12") deep. The handles stand approximately 16cm (6.5")  above the top of the bag.
